This original abstract geometric wood collage artwork is made by painting fine layers of ink, dye and acrylic paint onto birch plywood panels. I create vivid gradations of colour which are then cut into strips and blocks, then reassembled to create this striped grid combination. I use a rich combination of colours and tones which when juxtaposed to each other create a vibrating, effect. This piece is mounted on a gesso-painted white backboard.The piece can come ready framed in white or wooden box frame with a UV perspex glaze.
