The Lomography DIgitaliza Max isn't a scanner in and of itself, but it is a pretty good little film digitizing stand for phones. The set includes a battery powered light source, a stand, a phone clamp, and masks for 110, 35mm, and 127 film (you can scan 120 without an insert.) Why digitize images with your phone? Well, for one, your phone probably has a pretty good camera, and you'll end up with a file that you can easily tweak, upload, or send to friends and family. Actual image quality depends on your phone camera, of course, but it's pretty much guaranteed to be better than the cameras in those standalone Amazon "film scanners" you might otherwise be considering.
