Our Elegance Long Fruit Cage protects your canes, bushes and vegetables with the same design as the Domed Fruit Cage but with a shape that perfectly accommodates crops grown in rows. Made from galvanised steel and finished in Dove Grey - Our steel fruit cages are easily assembled with self tapping screws and are inserted directly into the ground. The strong knitted UV treated 20mm bird netting is easily attached with ties and then secured at ground level with hooks, keeping out birds and small animals. Fruit Cages are not designed to withstand loading from settled snow. If snow is forecast, roof nets should be removed to prevent damage to the frame. The netting included with this product is designed to fully encompass the structure by draping over it and securing it at the bottom with pegs. To access the crops inside, simply unpeg the netting at the bottom and lift it.
