Long Island Improved is an heirloom variety dating back to 1890 that produces an abundance of one to two-inch sprouts along sturdy 24-inch stems. Sprouts mature over an extended pe riod making Long Island Improved an excellent choice for home gardeners who prefer an extended harvest.
