My take on a much represented local view. As well as being an extraordinary picture carved into the Downs, the curves of the hedges and landscape surrounding the Long Man are very pleasing. Woodblock (plywood); each one hand printed on Conqueror laid vellum block printing paper with black linseed oil based relief printing ink, then hand tinted with watercolour. Unframed 30.5cm x 25.5cm.
