Long table is first shown at New Work, the second solo exhibition of Muller Van Severen at Valerie Traan Antwerp. Although the exhibition mainly consisted of glossy lacquer surface s, it also presented three polyethylene tables mounted on rusted steel and red lacquered steel trestles. The colored tabletop with a thickness of 3cm is supported on a sleek red lacquered steel frame, creating contrast between the softness of colored polyethylene and the rigidity of the steel. Handmade in Belgium, this piece has passed through the hands of skilled artisans and is meticulously finished in our studio. Show more
