Long tailed tits frequently visit my garden but I have yet to capture good photos of them; they swoop in in a bunch and then are gone as quickly as they arrived. I was however dete rmined to paint them so I approached a local photographer who kindly allowed me to use her photos for artistic reference; grateful thanks to Caroline Legg.
