Longan Fruit Tree (Dimocarpus longan) produces round brown fruit with translucent, sweet flesh with a honey or caramel-like flavour, and a slightly cooling peppermint/spicey aftert aste. The fruit is very popular in China, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan.
