When it starts to fray at the edges, you simply trim it back to a solid edge, giving it lots of life before it can eventually be composted. The curved blade-like edge at the front, the robust corners at the back, and the fibrous coir fibres underneath easily tackle dirty pans. After use, rinse and hang up to dry from the string loop.
