Her Name Was Freedom This look is part of the Her Name Was Freedom 2025 collection and the Conceptual Art series, a body of work inspired by identity, control, memory, and the emotional weight carried by both women and men living inside systems shaped by fear, power, religion, and expectation. The body is partially exposed, yet still restricted.Covered, but never fully hidden.Strong, but carrying tension like armor fused into skin. Black moves through the silhouette like authority.Like discipline.Like generations of masculinity taught to carry the weight of the world without breaking, while parts of themselves remained hidden behind survival. And underneath it, the white still remains visible, like the part that was never completely erased. For me, this look was never only about gender. It was about the moment strength becomes performance, silence becomes inheritance, and survival slowly turns into identity. SHIVA SOLTANI
