One of Loop's most popular patterns is now available as a single pattern!Brown-Eyed Susan is a crescent-shaped shawl with petal pleats at the bottom edge. It can be buttoned at the front, wrapped and tied at the back or draped around your neck. Brown-Eyed Susan can be made in as many or few colours as you choose. It can be knit in one solid colour, striped with a matching or contrast petal pleat border, or given a ‘brown eye’ by knitting the first twenty-three rows in a solid colour. Try working one of the stripes in a semi-solid and using leftover sock yarns for the alternating stripes. Size: S (L); both sizes can be worked in a 4ply/fingering weight yarn or DK weight yarn LARGE BLUE AND GREEN VERSIONThe Uncommon Thread BFL Singles :100% superwash BFL, 400m/100gColour A: Fjord 2 skeinsColour B: Avocat 1 skein SIZES Small (Large) Finished width: 100 (185)cm / 40 73)in Finished depth: 33 (55)cm / 13 (22)in YARN Small One-Colour VersionUses 100gr of any 4 ply fingering weight yarn LARGE STRIPED VERSIONMadelinetosh Sock (4ply/fingering weight, 100% superwash Merino wool, 361m / 394yds per 100g skein)Shade A: William Morris x 2 skeinsShade B: Trodden x 1 skein This version can now be substituted for Madelinetosh Twist Light or Merino Light and work just as beautifully.
