Fans of the Swedish underground should be familiar with Elin Engström from her time playing in Monokultur, Skiftande Enheter, and excellent solo recording project Loopsel. Her debu t album The Spiral manifests fragmented pieces of shimmering guitar, organ, and electronics creating a drifting ambiance that evokes a feeling of distance and mystique. An essential entry of the Gothenburg experimental music scene that never seems to run dry. The Spiral was originally released in 2019 as part of a multimedia spatial installation in Copenhagen, and subsequently reissued on Forlag For Fri Musik and Mammas Mysteriska Jukebox. Show more
