Made from primarily Viura (with smaller amounts of Malvasía, Chardonnay, Tempranillo Blanco, Sauvignon Blanc and Garnacha Blanca), 20% of this Rioja Blanco was aged 3 months in oak barrels from France and Eastern Europe. The rest was aged in steel tanks. The resulting wine is straw yellow in color with aromas of pear, quince, honey, and cream. The unctuous palate is balanced by tense acidity and citrusy flavors.
