Lorenzo Raffaglio just knows how to make wonderful wines. Having grown up in Milan he shaped his craft working in Jura with renowned winemakers. From there he moved to Western Sici ly In 2019 to start his own project in Alcamo, municipality of Trapani, with gorgeous limestone and clay terroirs facing the sea. These charactertics shine through these wines that are so full of life. E4c5 2022 is a blend of 500ltrs nero d’avola from clay terroirs, 15/20yo vines, 4 days maceration in steel tanks then pressed, then passed into a 500ltr chestnut barrel for a year. This is blended with a 4 days destemmed nero d’avola from 2023 in steel. The results are just incredible. Lorenzo Raffaglio E4C5 2022 would pair well with a Schawarma and turkish ezme salad. Show more
