A duel purpose eating and bittersharp cider apple. Large flattened fruit, pale yellow/green with red flush. Sweet and chewy. Fruits ready mid October. A heavy cropper that can be b iennial. Vigorous and sprawling tree. Raised by the Lorna Doone Cider Co. near Wellington. Awarded first class in the 1935 cider competition at Long Ashton as a medium cider. Show more
