Du refuge minimal de la micro-architecture, qui explore les figures de l’abri et de l’intimité, au pavillonnaire, qui questionne les formes d’appropriation individuelle du territoire, jusqu’aux projets en milieux extrêmes, qui expérimentent des manières de composer avec des contextes contraints, ces numéros déplacent le regard à différentes échelles. Ensemble, ils dessinent un récit inhérent à la profession, nourri des références de leurs temps, autour des conditions de l’habitabilité du monde. These issues shift perspective across different scales, from the minimal refuge of micro-architecture and its exploration of notions of shelter and intimacy, to the suburban house and its questioning of individual forms of territorial appropriation, and on to projects in extreme environments that experiment with ways of working within constrained contexts. Together, they form a narrative intrinsic to the profession, shaped by the concerns of their time and centred on the conditions that make the world habitable.
