The Lotus Vase from Haddonstone is a traditional cast stone planter from Haddonstone's extensive range of garden ornaments. The Lotus Vase is an octagonal Regency-style garden planter with a beautiful lotus-leaf design carved on the vase and base. The cast stone Lotus Vase from Haddonstone was replicated from an XIX century Blashfield original. John Marriott Blashfield (1811-1882) worked in the Coade tradition and was renowned for his works at Burghley House and Castle Ashby, both near to his manufactory in the market town of Stanford in Lincolnshire.
