This piece was painted on location plein air at the beautiful area around Lough Dan in Wicklow. It's an area I paint in often, pulled back here by the solitude, peace and natural b eauty. This is the view from the valley floor that the river Inchavore flows through into the lake and is looking north up towards Knocknacloghoge mountain.
