About Bello Opal Unlike traditional opal, Bello Opal is created in Japan using an advanced growing process that takes approximately one year to complete. Containing around 80% of the same chemistry as natural opal, it is engineered with an additional binding material that improves strength for everyday jewellery while producing remarkably vivid and consistent flashes of colour. Every stone reveals its own shifting combination of electric blue, emerald green and violet depending on the light, making each piece feel alive with movement.
