Deemed a "perfect-chillable-summer-red" by so many wine lovers, Love You Bunches is aromatic, juicy, and just simply fun to drink. Stolpman's Love You Bunches began as an experimen t for the Pete Stolpman winery when he asked the question, "What if we didn't crush our red grapes at all?" For a few years he had been growing the Italian variety Sangiovese, but at the prompting of his question, he chose to do something many would have considered too strange to attempt at the time: he employed a style of winemaking called Carbonic Fermentation, which is a type of gentle winemaking utilized on the Gamay variety in Beaujolais, France. He made the wine, mostly for himself, and found it to be light, fun, and easy-drinking. In 2016, he took a load of his un-named wine to a friend's wedding, and it was a massive hit. He knew he had something special on his hands, but he didn't have a name for the wine that he felt was right, so he asked his friends for suggestions, giving each of the a bottle and a felt tip pen.
