Drawing on personal memories and lived experience, his practice examines how identity is shaped by both the freedom people pursue and the social structures they inherit.Through painting, Codee Mac revisits moments of adolescence and queer discovery - experiences that blur innocence with sensuality, comfort with exposure. The human body often functions as a metaphor for emotional honesty, reflecting the tension between openness and restraint.His approach is intuitive and highly textural. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, he builds surfaces that feel physical and lived-in — layered with movement, at times raw and at others deeply tender. Each work becomes an attempt to reconcile memory, desire, and self-acceptance within the same emotional space. Shipping is not included in the online artwork purchase price.
