No time to “get ready.” If all your handgun training happens in daylight, under perfect conditions, you are training for the least likely version of a fight. This class exists to fix that. Low Light Pistol Operator prepares you to fight with a handgun when you can’t see clearly, when your vision is compromised, and when identifying a threat is just as critical as stopping one. You will learn how to draw, move, identify, and engage threats in low-light and no-light environments using both handheld flashlights and weapon-mounted lights. Because in the real world: You may have to draw in complete darkness You may have to identify a threat before pulling the trigger You may only get one chance to do it right And you will not rise to the occasion — you will default to your level of training. This Is Not a Nighttime Marksmanship Class This is pistol fighting in the dark. You will learn how to: Positively identify threats before firing Manage light without giving away your position Fight in confined, cluttered environments Shoot accurately while processing limited information Operate your handgun when vision, balance, and perception are degraded Students who only train during the day are woefully unprepared for this reality.This course builds confidence and competence where most training ends. Prerequisites: To attend you must have completed Liberty Firearms Academy's Tactical Pistol Operator, Combative Pistol, or Urban Pistol Operator Classes.
