The Low Profile Vice is a versatile workholding device, designed specifically for compact desktop CNC machines and CNC routers. The reduced body height maximises usable Z-axis travel/clearance while providing a solid foundation for machining. Pre-hardened steel serrated jaws bite onto just 3mm of material, providing secure clamping during machining while minimising material wastage. The serrated jaws can be reversed to reveal a smooth face creating a 3x3mm step for holding softer materials or finished machined surfaces. Additionally, machinable soft jaws are available to enable irregular shaped parts to be firmly held during secondary machining operations. The Low Profile Vice can be mounted on waste boards/machine tables with a hole pitch of 75mm(3in) to 100mm(4in) making it compatible with most common compact CNC machines such as Makera Z1, Carvera Air, Millennium Machine Milo, Shapeoko, Nomad 3 and more. Supports M5, M6 and 1/4-20" fixings.
