Löwenbräu's Oktoberfestbier takes a slightly more hop-forward approach than some of the richer festival lagers. It's 6.1% and properly malty, but the brewery uses elegant Hallertau aroma hops rather than piling on the bitterness, giving it a spicy, herbal lift alongside the golden malt. The finish is clean, crisp and very süffig, which is Bavarian for "better order another one." Show more
