This hardware kit consists of shorter standoffs for the front and back of an SM Keyboards case (v2 design where the stand layers aligned in the back of the case). If you have a v1 design (the stand layers are separated from the border standoffs) then you will only need the 12mm standoffs. Normal standoffs are 15mm and 25mm for the front and back respectively. These standoffs are 12mm and 22mm which will usually allow you to take out one layer from your case. "usually" because of the tolerance of acrylic is anywhere from 2.5mm to 3.3mm. This will help shorten the front height of the cases by decreasing one layer. Please make sure your case layers are tall enough to support these. The layers with the standoff cutouts must be at least 12mm for these to work. The case layers with the stand layers must be at least 22mm.
