Description:The Rockville RS6X9VT is a pair of wedge-shaped 6x9 inch car audio speaker boxes designed to fit compatible 6x9 speakers into tight spaces behind the seat of many single cab pickup trucks. Each enclosure narrows toward the top, letting it tuck into the angled space behind a truck seat where a standard box wouldn't fit.The boxes are built from 5/8 inch MDF and include machine-cut 6x9 inch speaker openings for compatible speaker mounting. Each enclosure also includes a carpeted exterior finish and built-in speaker terminals for wiring connection.Because the speaker opening runs "longways" along the shorter side of the box, these enclosures are also narrower than standard 6x9 boxes (10" wide vs. 12"), making it easier to fit multiple units side-by-side when more speakers are needed. These speaker boxes are suitable for pickup truck behind-seat installations, car audio upgrades, and custom setups where a compact, space-saving enclosure is needed.Technical summary: pair of single 6x9 inch speaker enclosures, wedge/tapered design, 5/8 inch MDF construction, 6.25 inch mounting depth, 6x9 inch hole cutout, carpeted finish, built-in terminals.Features: 6x9 Speaker Boxes: Includes two single 6x9 inch wedge-shaped speaker enclosures for car audio speaker installation Wedge Design: Tapered shape narrows toward the top, built to fit behind the seat in many single cab pickup truck applications Space-Saving Width: Narrower profile (10" vs. 12" on standard boxes) makes it easier to fit multiple 6x9 speakers in tight spaces MDF Construction: Built with 5/8 inch MDF panels to support secure speaker mounting Pre-Cut Speaker Mount: Machine-cut 6x9 inch mounting holes help support fitment with compatible 6x9 car speakers Carpeted Finish and Terminals: Plush carpet covering and built-in speaker terminals provide a clean, reliable installation Enclosure Measurements: Type of Enclosure: Single Enclosure Sub Size: 6x9” Mounting Depth: 6.25” Hole Cutout: 6x9”
