Rear Air Spring - the air bag element of the rear air suspension, used on both four-corner air suspension and front-coil/rear-air self-levelling systems. It carries the rear axle l oad on compressed air and works with the ride-height sensors, valve block and compressor to hold the set ride height regardless of load. A perished or leaking rear air spring shows up as the vehicle sitting low at the rear and as the compressor running continuously.
