This add-on camera module adds LWIR thermal imaging to your LR1 payload on Astro or Astro Max! This thermal module and its specific counterweight are user installable and mounts to the LR1 Payload with 4+3 screws and plugs into the expansion port. Once installed, users can switch between the main LR1 camera and thermal camera through Astro's live video feed. This item is export controlled. Compatibility LR1 Payload The LR1 Laser Range Finder Upgrade (910-00841) and LR1 Thermal Upgrade (910-00840) can be used together with LR1 Payload with the larger counterweight included with the Thermal Upgrade. Notes The payload is tuned to work best on Astro with the Astro Isolator. The LR1 Payload is not available without the camera/lens, nor is it practical or advised to disassemble the payload to use the camera for other purposes. This payload is DIU Blue approved.
