ABS Sensor - Front - wheel speed sensor in the anti-lock braking system, mounted at the front hub carrier. It reads the tone ring on the hub and feeds wheel speed data to the ABS c ontrol module, which uses the signal for anti-lock braking, traction control and stability control functions. Two are fitted per vehicle, one at each front wheel. A failed sensor normally illuminates the ABS and stability control warning lamps and disables those systems until the fault is rectified. Show more
