Anti-Roll Bar Link - Front, the connecting link between the front anti-roll bar end and the suspension strut in the front suspension assembly. The link transfers vertical suspensio n movement into the anti-roll bar so that the bar is twisted when the two sides of the axle travel unequally, generating the roll stiffness that limits body lean in cornering. Each end runs on a ball joint or bonded bush, allowing articulation while the link works purely in tension and compression. Worn links are one of the most common causes of a knocking or rattling noise from the front end over broken surfaces and speed humps, and they blunt turn-in response as the bar is no longer positively driven. Replace in axle sets so that roll stiffness stays balanced side to side, and check the anti-roll bar mounting bushes at the same time. Show more
