LS Crank Pin Kit Stock LS crank pulleys lack a keyway to prevent the crank pulley from spinning on the crankshaft. While this is acceptable for stock applications, supercharged or high-horsepower setups require the crank to be pinned to avoid slippage. Our basic crank pin kit includes: 1 Steel drill guide 1 Drill bit 2 Hardened dowel pins 1 Bolt to secure the drill guide Only one pin is necessary, but we provide extras for multiple cranks or to add an extra pin for added security.
