The Press System 1-1/2" standard pressing jaw is intended for use with the PC-280 press tool or the PC-100 press tool. The pressing jaw is installed in the appropriate pressing tool. When the trigger on the pressing tool is depressed, a crimp is made, and the jaws must close completely to ensure a leak-free connection. A unique "N" witness mark is clearly visible when properly crimped. Pressing tools, jaws, and chain sets are integral to ensuring a reliable, permanent connection between copper piping and NIBCO Press System fittings and valves. Use only pressing tools, jaws, and chain sets tested and approved for use with NIBCO Press System fittings and valves.
