With high polarization efficiency (99.98 %) across 400–700 nm, this filter integrates seamlessly into industrial machine vision and inspection systems—ideal for delivering precise, glare-free illumination. For many products, machine vision direct can have a more robust polarizer integrated directly into the product for a seamless product experience with higher overall quality. Note: Standard Polarizers work well for visible bandwidths. It is not recommended to use this polarizers with UV 365nm, UV 395nm, IR 850nm, IR 940nm, or any SWIR Wavelengths. For applications using 470nm Blue or WHITE LED's, it is recommended to strobe the lights if possible. These LED's emit higher levels of thermal energy which can cause degredation of the polarizer over time when ran at higher duty cycles at full brightness. Machine Vision Direct can offer high temp polarizers that will be better suited to being used with 470nm Blue or WHITE LED's.
