This is a full day school holiday programme It is recommended for children aged 8 or 9 years upwards. 9am - 3pm Wednesday 8th July 2026 There is a maximum of 6 participants. Your y oung baker will have their own allocated work station and equipment in a modern kitchen space. They will be taught the basics of kitchen etiquette, baking techniques and terminology. They will work through the whole process of designing, creating and decorating a celebration cake.. Participants will be taught all aspects of baking and kitchen process 1. reading recipes 2. measuring and weighing 3. kitchen tidiness/hygene and clean up 4. baking techniques 5. cooking process All ingredients, tools and packaging will be provided along with recipes. Lunch will be provided along with aprons and hair nets. They just need to bring themselves and a 'can do' attitude. Please wear closed in shoes.
