This model is crafted in the style of Antonio and Girolamo Amati. It produces sweet high tones, but the corpus is wide enough to give a rich bass register as well. The Amati model is designed for playing solos, though the sonority is not quite solid enough for basso continuo lines. It is a perfect cello for amateurs. This instrument is sold with a hard case and an additional high E string. It is also available with an antique stain finish.
