The Lucca Journal has long been our most popular size journal for carrying every day. There is plenty of space for writing, illustrating, and mounting standard size photos and postcards. This 5” x 7.5” journal contains 100 pages of the acid-free Artisan cotton paper. It’s my most versatile, and is ideal for light watercolor, and for writing or sketching with any type of pen, pencil, or charcoal. (Note: this and the bamboo are the best papers for use with micro-tips or fountain pens.) This book features a repurposed antique icebox hinge closure from the late 1800’s. It is attached with hand-hammered copper rivets. Securing the book is an antique padlock that comes with a beautiful working key. Though the padlock is functional, it is meant to be treated as decoration.
