A centre waste sounds like a small detail until you realise what it allows, which is two people bathing at once with neither stuck at the tap end. The Lucca Solid Surface Bath 1600mm is built around that, with the waste positioned centrally for dual bathing. Solid surface is a different proposition to acrylic, blending acrylic with alumina so the material is consistent from the surface right through to the core rather than being a moulded shell. Soft curves and a thin edge keep the oval form looking light despite the substance. The matte white finish avoids the glare of a gloss. A licensed plumber is required to install it.
