The crane is Japan’s national bird and a symbol of longevity and wisdom. They’re also believed to carry souls to paradise, so when you see one, it’s bringing you good luck for new experiences and periods of transition. A graceful crane stands in silhouette on this lightweight knit top, in a design inspired by Japanese landscape paintings but created here in the US. Relaxed fit with 3/4-length sleeves.Please note: We originally called this a tunic, but as some customers have pointed out, the length is a little shorter than that name might suggest. It's closer to waist length on most people, with a straighter silhouette. (Unfortunately we can't change the name online, but in our print catalog you'll see this now called the Lucky Crane Top.)
