Raised by Mr Lucombe around Exeter in 1800, this vintage variety is golden coloured with russet flecks. First rate quality. It is highly regarded and favoured by growers for it's r ich aromatic juice that bears hints of pineapple. Very resistant to apple scab and can be grown from "pitchers".
