Lucullus Swiss Chard is a classic heirloom variety that produces large, heavily crinkled, dark green leaves with broad, white, succulent stems. The leaves have a mild, earthy flavo r with a slight sweetness when young, and the stems offer a pleasant crunch. It is excellent sautéed with garlic, wilted into soups and pasta, steamed as a side, or used in quiches and stir-fries.
