The Lucy Claire Bag is knit in Brown Sheep Company's Harborside Aran, a newer yarn line crafted from a blend of 50% Rambouillet and 50% Columbia wool. I was fortunate to discover this yarn during the development of the pattern, as the combination of these two sheep breeds fulls beautifully into an exceptionally dense and durable felted fabric. That quality is essential to the Lucy Claire design.
