The Luftballons upholstered furniture collection by Valter Cagna from Gebrüder Thonet Vienna design dept. is characterized by soft lines and sinuous curves, inspired by the contour s of a balloon. Comprising a small sofa and a lounge chair, the family of seats is distinguished by the large volumes of cushions, carefully balanced in size and proportions. The solid frame made of steam-curved beechwood, an element of continuity with Gebrüder Thonet Vienna’s legacy, supports the upholstered seat and ensures great comfort. Just a few components, with a strong and playful character: Luftballons decorate the room and add a touch of playfulness and personality to the space. Designed in 2022. Handmade in Italy.
