Luke Alessi, the Melbourne-based producer, follows a successful year of collaborations with Chloe Caillet, Papa Nugs, and Demi Riquisimo, and now launches his own imprint with this crisp first release. The title track, "Yes Empress", is a bubbling, irresistible groove featuring fizzing synth stabs, vocal samples, and spoken word snippets. "B Phonk" adds bass-heavy, carnival-inspired nostalgia, while side B opens with "Guacamole", a tribal-tinged hip-house jam, and closes with "Overtime" (feat. Kamohelo), a muscular, spoken-word-infused tech-house cut. Perfect for DJs, deep house fans, and vinyl collectors, this EP demonstrates Luke Alessi’s signature peak-time energy, innovative production, and the bold ethos of Coffee Cola.
