However, it's important to ensure that your ballast is specifically designed to ignite lamps over extended distances when using an extension lead. Not all ballasts are capable of handling the increased distance between the ballast and the lamp. Fortunately, both PowerPlant and LUMii ballasts are engineered to support this functionality, capable of igniting a lamp from as far as 15 meters away from the ballast.
