Brian is a self-taught artist known for his expressive paintings a nd intricate wood carvings. Whether bringing landscapes to life on canvas or carving detailed wildlife scenes into wood, his work reflects a deep connection to nature and rural life. Brian draws inspiration from the people and places that have shaped his life. He shares his creative journey with his wife, Jennifer, and is the proud father of two children, two step-children, and six grandchildren. Brian's artistic style is rooted in Tonalism, a movement that emerged in the late 1880s. He considers plein air painting (working outdoors in natural light) to be his most valuable tool.
