Moth sculpture of a Luna Moth. This moth has green-blue wings with an ivory white body. Its wings, antenna, and legs are made from paper and wire, while its body is covered with 100% merino wool. Each side of the wing is lovingly coloured by hand with artist-grade coloured pencils, then cut and wired for rigidity. The wires in the wings allow each wing to be moved into different positions, exposing the details of the topside or underside of the wing as desired. The moth is designed with an attachment to allow it to be hung from a wall, or tied onto a frame or object. It can even be clipped onto a branch on your Christmas tree as an ornament!
