The Luna Moth Pendant (Actias luna) is shaped around symmetry and suspended balance. The composition follows the extended wingspan of the moth, structured along a clear vertical axis. The wings create a wide horizontal presence, while the elongated lower body anchors the form. Moonstones are set within the wings and central body, introducing pale internal luminosity. Their soft surface contrasts with the carved textures of the wings, creating layered depth without excess detail. The surface preserves fine carving traces and slight irregularities formed through hand shaping. The structure feels balanced, concentrated, and defined by alignment rather than ornament. Each pendant is carved in wax and cast individually after the order is placed.
