Like a lunar eclipse, this set consists of two complementary plates made of fine Limoges porcelain. The hand-engraved texture on the white matte bisque plate is reminiscent of the irregularities of the moon's surface. To evoke the new moon, the black plate has been covered in a dark grey metallic enamel and hand-stamped with a navy blue enamel for a textural effect. The plates can be used as platters to display cheese, charcuterie and dessert or as charger plates. Each plate is made by hand in extra white fine Limoges porcelain.
