Moss agates are hard to come by, and we were lucky enough to find this stone at Lune River, a popular fossicking site in Southern Tasmania. Often it's very muddy, and the area is covered in things that want to eat you: leeches, March flies, Jack Jumpers (Myrmecia pilosula) and inchmen ants (Myrmecia forficata). But it's worth it.
