Lupinus spp. Our mix of perennial lupines is either big leaf, riverbank, or Russels lupine. The native flowers are known for their bold spikes of color and vital habitat for pollinators. Blooming from late spring into summer, lupines enrich the soil by fixing nitrogen and create striking vertical accents in the garden. Flowers range from soft pastels to deep jewel tones, attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, while supporting native pollinators like bumble bees. Grown from organic locally adapted seed. Our current mix includes: Russell’s Mix Lupine, Riverbank Lupine (L. rivularis), Bigleaf Lupine (L. polyphyllus), and Wild Lupine (L. perennis).
